Roleplay: 18th of October 2010

Season: Autumn/Fall. The temperature is rather mild, a fair few degrees above freezing.

Samurai, a male wolf, enters the valley from the southern end. He's tired after a long journey and decides to try and find somewhere to rest.

Orion moved silently through the valley, carefully listening to his surroundings. With his one good eye he spotted Samurai.

Looking around, Samurai spots some trees a short distance away, and decides to use them for shelter to rest. He walks over, then lies down at the foot of a tree. He rests his head on his forelegs, and lazily watches his surroundings.

Frost, an abandoned pup, collasped, snow falling on her soft white fur. Soon, a blanket of snow will cover her, freezing her to death. Nobody would find her, because she blended in. Who would've thought a lone, abandoned pup like Frost would survive a journey, anyway? (oh wait can it be snowing?)

ooc: It's a few degrees above freezing so why not?

Samurai picks up Frost's scent on the air, and gets up to have a look. He soon discovers the lone pup, and is startled. For a moment he isn't sure what to do, but decides to carry her gently to the shelter of the nearby trees where he curls around her to keep her warm.

Frost is surprised when Samurai picks her up from the cold, white ground, but soon relaxes when her savior wraps around her to keep her warm. Frost is shocked by her luck, being saved. She soon closes her eyes and slips into a deep sleep.

Samurai watches out for anything of interest, and anything that could pose as a threat to himself or Frost. He mainly keeps his eye out for other wolves. Though most wolves adore pups, there were bound to be some who wouldn't hesitate to have a pup for lunch. Samurai surpresses a growl at the thought.

Frost dreams of hunting with the pack, taking down large animals. She has never seen or done hunting since she was too young. At her old pack, Frost has seen massive elk, deer, and caribou kills dragged into the clearing. It was simply amazing.

Samurai continues to watch for any threats, and wonders about Frost's past and the cause for her being alone.

Enigma Awoke To Find Herself Lying By A River She Blinked ,Then Remembered She Was Chasing A Coyote And Must Of Had A Rest And Fallen Asleep .
She Got Up And Stretched She Spotted Some Wolves In The Distance So headed off . She Ran Across The River And Splashed Herself In The Process She Liked The Feeling Of The Cold Water On Her Fur , So She Rolled In The Water . She Got Up And Shaked . But Headed Off , She Stopped A Couple Of Feet Away From The Wolves And Barked .

Samurai leaps up at the sound of Enigma, instinctively putting himself between her and the young pup. Boldly, he approaches her.
"Who are you, then?" He asks her, trying not to sound threatening.

Im Enigma She Stepped Back And Growled At A Butterfly Which Landed On her Nose She Twitched It Off Then Lay Underneath A Sequoia Tree .

"Samurai's the name." Samurai informs her. "And you see that white pup over there? That's Frost, I think she must've got separated from her pack. I don't know what pack, though. There aren't any in this valley, I don't think."

nice Name ! She Looked The Pup And jsut Shook Her HEad . And Said Well Seeya Then !

"Where're you going?" Samurai asks her, curiously.

Samurai sighs. Suddenly, his mind drifts to his old mate, who died during a fight with a rival pack. He shook his head sadly. Very rarely did a wolf kill one of its own kind, but his mate had fallen victim to one of the few who weren't afraid to kill another.

Enigma Sits Down And Stays Put She Looks At Samurai And Smiles .

Samurai realises his mind is wandering and shakes himself out of it. What is in the past must stay in the past if he wants to have a future.

Frost woke up from her nap and squeaked, smelling a strange wolf scent.

Samurai hears Frost squeak and hurries over to her.
"Don't worry, I won't let her hurt you." He tell Frost comfortingly. He turns to Enigma. Samurai doubted that she would even think about harming a pup. Never in his life had he actually seen a wolf harm a pup. It was almost unheard of. Almost. It was this almost that would keep Samurai guarding Frost.

Frost blinks open her bright green eyes and yawns.

Samurai smiles at the little pup. He's starting to feel quite fond of her, and looks over at Enigma, wondering if she's going to stick around.
