The Valley

Ok, seeing as the roleplay takes place in a valley in the Carpathian Mountains (Transylvania, Romaina, East Europe) I've put together a basic description so we all have a rough idea about what's where.

FORESTS AND TREES
Much of the valley is covered with conifer trees. There is the North Forest at the northern end of the valley, which is also the widest end. Conifers also cover much of the western mountain slopes.

The North Forest
The North Forest lies at the north end of the valley. It is a popular haunt of lone wolves, with a few clearings and caves here and there. The river that runs through the length of the valley also runs through here as a clear stream.

THE WESTERN SLOPES
These gentle slopes are the safest in the valley. Much of it is forest and grassland. There is good hunting territory here. There is an old, abandoned medievil castle lying above the treeline that would make an ideal den site.

THE EASTERN SLOPES
These steep slopes are more dangerous than the western ones, containing the Rocky Meadow and the Glacier. They offer more caves for den sites, but some are difficult to reach. There are a few thickets of trees across these slopes along with some fairly good quality hunting ground.

The Rocky Meadow
The Rocky Meadow lies on one of the eastern slopes of the valley and is as it sounds. It may sometimes offer good hunting and shelter, with a few trees and small caves, and but steep drops and sharp rocks make it a treacherous place to be.

The Glacier
Though incredibly beautiful, the valley's largest glacier, located almost directly above the Rocky Meadow, offers poor hunting, minimal cover and no vegetation. It's also dangerously steep and, in many places, slippery, so watch your step as one wrong move could send you sliding down uncontrollably into the Rocky Meadow.

THE RIVER
The river runs through the bottom of the valley. It's widest in the South, but the southern part of the river is quite calm and shallow. The North Forest houses the narrowest, clearest part, which is also shallow. In various places, the river has a deadly fast current.

THE SOUTH
Much of the south of the valley is open grassland or conifer forest. You can also find the Old Cave here.

OTHER CAVES
There are dozens of caves, large and small, scattered around the valley. You just have to know where to look.

The Old Cave
Located to the south of the valley, this old cave may look nice but on the inside it's not a very pleasant place. Cobwebs line the walls and bats roost on the ceiling. Wolves often come here seeking shelter and refuge, but you never know what you may come across.
